El Movimiento Popular Positioned for a Coup But Unable to Move

The normally loquacious leaders of El Movilizacion Popular, one of the opposition groups in Latinia, have ceased approaching members of the press, refrained from holding press conferences and have been silent on their official media outlets. Popular members have been seen in close contact with other political parties.

Los Pragmaticos have also been seen in negotiations with various opposition leaders, but talks have yet to bear fruits.

With a national crises underway, divisions weakening Los Radicales and instability throughout the region, the moment is ripe for a coup, but the parties invovled have failed to reach an agreement as to how to go about it.

Meanwhile, the Tupiza Community has publicly declared their support of Movimiento Popular as well as the local NGO Fraternidad Humana given the recent shut down of the Latinian based paper, El National.

Esmeraldas Energy has been in close talks with the U.S. Embassy of late to discuss overall chances for stability.
