During the final days of June, senior executives at Esmeralada Energy, the state oil and gas company of Amazonas, conducted closed-door meetings until midnight. An annonymos employee reported that the CEO forbade employees from talking with other groups unless under strict supervision and ordered that the windows to all meeting rooms be blocked off to prevent onlookers.
The Washington Patriot's informant on the matter explained that the company hoped to position itself strictly in opposition to the United States government, although both parties are undoubtedly adamant about commercializing as much of the resources in Latinia as possible.
Earlier this morning, a senior official from Amazonas announced that the CEO would be stepping down and a new one would be appointed soon.
