Humanity First Demonstrates against Esmeralda Energy and Latinian Government, Faces False Accusations and Deportation

Hours before the Latinian government revoked their visas, Humanity First, in alliance with Humana Fraternidad, The Tupiza Community and the Oil and Gas Workers Federation organized a public rally outside the headquarters of Esmeralda.

Protesters marched to the Government Buildings, calling for a an end to violence and killings. The rally was quickly quashed by the government, reports the group.

Los Radicales defended the government's decision to revoke the group's visas with a public statement claiming members of the group had been found consciously pricking children with HIV/AIDS infected needles in order to drum up support.

Investigations by the Patriot have found no evidence of foul play or anything to substantiate the government's claims.

"Humanity First's main priority is helping the people of Latinia," says member Melany Vargas, "the statements released by the government is false."

The group will continue to operate in the capital of Amazonas and maintain close ties with NGOs and community groups on the ground.

The U.S. Ambassador called a press conference to denounce the treatment of human rights groups in Latinia.
