Government Denies Knowledge of the Existence of Ghost Workers

As of 4:33pm today, the local NGO, Fraternidad Humana, posted the following:

"Fraternidad Humana had confirmed from multiple sources that not only do Ghostworkers exist, but Minister of Mines Diego Aguirre is heavily involved in the diversion of the wages of ghost workers registered on the payroll of the urban ecology forces to his personal bank account.

Consequently, we call for the resignation of Minister Aguirre and for the government to conduct a full scale investigation into this practice."

The Patriot approached government offices before the statement was released. Government representatives denied any knowledge whatsoever of ghostworkers. "There are no miners," reported a Radicales party member before shutting the door.
