While unconfirmed, several rumors are circulating that President Sanchez did not leave office as a result of health complications but rather was forced to leave by various Latinian officials. Members of the Los Radicales party are very upset by this and claims have been made that upset Radicales members have taken to the countryside (where much of their support remains) in order to organize an uprising against Murillo's new government. As the Patriot suspects, Murillos implicit reassurance of Latinian peace does not look too likely if Radicales members are indeed planning an uprising.
According to some unconfirmed sources, Murillo's new position as president demonstrates a complete lack of democracy in Latinia, and citizens are purportedly infuriated that their democratic voice was stolen through Murillo's actions.
Further, certain anonymous sources told the Patriot that regarding coca production ventures, the United States gave President Sanchez two completely different stories: after the minister of narcotics approved the production of up to 12,000 hectors of coca in Latinia, another senior US official reacted by revoking US visas.
